Luna is proud to offer authentic Thudbuster Seat posts at the lowest price anywhere to make our customers e-ride a little bit cozier.
Thudbusters have proven to be enough suspension for most ebike riders and is a very popular upgrade.
Full suspension mountain bike frames are not well suited for mounting ebike batteries. The ideal ebike conversion has always been a hard tail frame because then you have a full sized triangle to mount a battery pack.
A Thudbuster gives you 3 inches of suspension which is good enough for most ebikers.
Since most Ebikers are not riding really technical off road, a suspension seat post is usually adequate suspension instead of a rear suspension.
must have for hard tails

I got the review from Karl at Electric-bike blog and bought it on his advice.
This product brought my wife's front suspension step through with twin baskets back and front plus panniers, to a commuter that I'm loath to give back to her.
Its so smooth and thud absorbing that I really love it. Wish I could post a pic...
I got the long travel, which I recommend, and it soaks up pretty much everything.
Closest I have to a full suspension, which I will have when I can afford one from Lunar...
Very solid feel and very easy to install.
Lunar has the cheapest price in the world that I could find, and freight to aus was $50 US with DHL.
can't recommend it enough...
Great comfort upgrade

I bought my through amazon as Luna was not selling these when I first made my ebike. Luna price is good comparable with Amazon, plus why not support Luna.
Anyways as to the product itself, it helped a ton with comfort on my hard tail fatbike (I have a bluto up front). Highly recommended upgrade. It does add a fair amount of height to the seatpost so if you have an oversized frame you may want to go with the ST version.
