Talaria MX4 & XXX: UL Compliance Achieved!

We are thrilled to announce that the Talaria MX4 and XXX, our leading electric dirt bikes, have officially achieved UL compliance! This milestone is the result of our relentless pursuit of safety, quality, and innovation in electric vehicle technology.

Why UL Compliance Matters

Compliance with Underwriters Laboratories (UL) standards is one of the most rigorous safety benchmarks in the world. An independent third-party laboratory put the Talarias through extensive testing and analysis, verifying that it meets these demanding safety standards. The certificate was issued by SGS, a globally recognized testing, inspection, and certification company accredited by OSHA to certify that a product is UL compliant. This UL Compliance is for the entire bike, not just the battery.

UL compliance means that the MX4 and XXX have been thoroughly tested and validated for electrical safety across various sub-systems, including battery, motor drive, controller, wiring harnesses, etc. Even the Charger is UL compliant.

A New Standard in Electric Dirt Bikes

The Talaria MX4 and the XXX were designed with performance at its core, but now it stands as a benchmark for safety too. This reinforces our promise to give riders the confidence they need, whether tearing through rough trails or tackling steep hills. With this achievement, we ensure that every bike we deliver meet the highest safety requirements while continuing to push the boundaries of off-road excitement.

What This Means for You

If you’re already a Talaria rider, you know that our bikes offer unmatched firepower and thrill. With UL compliance, you can now ride knowing that your safety is backed by the gold standard in product testing. Every Talaria MX4 and XXX now rolling off the production line will bear the UL mark, certifying that it adheres to the highest level of safety protocols.

If you have an older MX4 or XXX, rest assured, the bike has been designed to meet UL since the drawing board. Although the bikes with UL mark will start arriving to the Luna shop in 2025, all the MX4 and XXX we sold are exactly the same bike that passed compliance testing.

The Road Ahead

Achieving UL compliance isn’t the end; it’s just the beginning. The next-gen MX5 is currently undergoing the same compliance testing, the process is expected to take 6 to 12 months. We will continue to innovate and ensure that all future models live up to the same safety standards.

To all our customers, both old and new: thank you for riding with us. Together, we’re not just shaping the future of electric dirt bikes—we’re making it safer, faster, and more thrilling than ever.
