How to set up a payment plan for your Luna bike

Jul 21st 2026

At Luna we often get asked about how financing works.

This guide goes into detail about each option, and how to use them to get your bike with one of these month to month payment plans.

As an example let’s add one of our most popular bikes, the Talaria XXX Pro and add it to cart. We are selecting the color and any other options desired, in this case blue with supermoto wheelset.

While viewing the cart we can see the built-in financing options straight away; while we can also go through checkout and use them there, it is entirely possible to use them straight from the cart. This is also a great way to quickly check out what each service offers without extra steps.

The top link is a clickable option to go through Affirm for financing, this is also the most popular option when it comes to financing.

We are greeted with an estimated payment plan with example payments for the bike based on whether we are selecting to pay it off in 6 months, 1 year or 2 years. The actual interest rate can vary depending on factors like your credit score and what down payment you are providing, but this gives us an immediate baseline example of a payment plan, great for comparisons.

If we click to check if we qualify, it only prompts us to enter a phone number, very straightforward.

They will send a code to your phone to confirm, and only needs this code written in the following page.

At this point you provide some basic information including name, address and part of your social. It will then run a soft credit check (which does not hurt your credit score) and immediately offer the payment plans available to you.

We like Affirm in particular because it is fast, easy and does not require a lot of extra steps. It is a great choice if you just want to see what options you have without a lot of hassle.

Another option along these same lines is the Amazon Pay option. You can use this to do a regular payment through Amazon Pay’s checkout process, but Amazon Pay also offers the ability to use Affirm in conjunction with their payment gateway.

If you regularly use Amazon then this can save you some effort on entering additional stuff like name, address etc. To finance through this simply click the Choose Affirm icon within Amazon Pay, and it will walk you through same steps as above.

Additionally there is the Paypal Pay Later option. This can be especially handy if you already have a Paypal account. If you do, they likely already have all the info they need to quote you for a payment plan, meaning there are nearly zero steps involved besides logging in.

If we click that and log in, we will be greeted with the following page describing the payment plans available. Paypal also offers a Paypal Mastercard payment option that, if you qualify, offers 0% APR if you pay it off within half a year. This can be a great deal for those that simply want to spread the expense out without paying additional interest rates.

Additional options

While these are all the options available via our website, there are additional options possible through your bank, especially if you have a credit union. It can take a bit of extra effort which may involve calling or visiting your bank, but for people willing to put in that extra research it can pay off as your bank may potentially they have the ability to offer you better interest rates than online financing providers.

Often this would involve going to your bank and telling them you want to open a line of credit; they would then give you a card that can be run like a regular credit card. There is also the possibility to get a motorcycle loan from them; if this is a service they offer you would likely get a better deal than a regular line of credit. in this instance they would usually want to wire us the money directly after the loan is approved. If you would like to do this we would recommend to reach out directly to us at support@lunacycle.com we can coordinate with you and your loan officer to ensure a smooth transaction.
