Super fun bike!
Took the X1 (ludicrous) out for a first ride - and 18 miler in Niscene Marks. The bike handles extremely well and has lots of power. It floated over big roots, dips, and a small log. The torque sensor too a bit of getting used to coming from a BBS02 equipped hardtail. But once I got used to it and found the right PAS level I was tackling harder terrain than I ever have before. It climb like a possessed mountain goat. Uphills became down hills and it was pretty easy to get the front wheel in the air with just a bit of pedal effort. I'd cannot remember having more fun mountain biking! It is a little on the loud side (especially compared to a virtually silent BBS02), but I'm hoping that will lessen after the gears break in and maybe a re-packing of grease. It is a beautiful machine and I'm super happy with it overall.
