The Talaria XXX packs the same motor and electronics as the Sting R MX4 into a smaller, lighter frame at a lower price. At 125 pounds with a 31.5-inch seat height, it's the daily rider of the Talaria lineup — easy to handle, quick to sneak onto a trail, and certified to UL2849 for electrical safety (read the announcement). Battery
The XXX uses a built-in battery that can be removed in about five minutes — take off the rear wheel and release the quick-release on the rear suspension. Its 2,400 watt-hours and efficient IPM motor deliver a more effective range than the newest Sur-Ron X.
The IPM motor
This is the upgrade that changed the platform: a Talaria-built Interior Permanent Magnet motor with bigger, better magnets and a far superior design to the stock Sting and Sur-Ron motors. Better efficiency, better heat dissipation, and far better reliability — loose or demagnetized magnets and failed hall sensors were the biggest failure points of the older design, and this motor eliminates hall sensors entirely with a magnetic encoder. If you ever upgrade to a more powerful controller, this motor takes the extra power in stride.

Upgrades
Trail wheel set
A factory MX wheel set — 19" front / 17" rear with CST knobby tires — transforms the XXX into a proper dirt bike (raises seat height by one inch). Sold separately for $400, or select the $170 swap option on this listing to ship with dirt wheels instead of the Super Motos.

Pedal kit
Quality CNC pedal kit that turns the XXX into a legit e-bike — pedal home if you run out of battery, or just enjoy the mountain-bike look. Sold separately for $200, or have it preinstalled for $300 via the option on this listing.
